SMS Terms & Conditions
Program
Steady Service Notifications. Steady sends text messages in two situations:
- To our business clients: alerts about calls we answered for them, owner command replies, and weekly reports, as agreed in their service agreement.
- On behalf of a client, to that client's customers: messages about the customer's own service request. Each client also publishes its own SMS terms, which apply to those messages.
These are service messages only. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
How you opt in
- Saying yes when our phone assistant asks: "Is it OK if we text you at this number about this request - confirmations, updates, quote follow-ups and a review request? Message frequency varies; reply HELP for help. Msg and data rates may apply; reply STOP anytime."
- Texting the business first at its number.
- Agreeing with a member of the business's team, who records it.
- For business clients: agreeing in the service agreement to receive alerts and reports.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Customers receive at most 3 texts in any 24 hours, and usually only a few for a whole job.
Rates
Msg & data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge for messages.
How to opt out
Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE or OPT OUT at any time. A plain request such as "please stop texting me" works too. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts unless you opt back in by replying START.
